Professional Organizations

THE AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY
The AMS is one of the largest mathematical societies in the nation. It was founded in 1888 to further the interests of mathematics in research and scholarship and serves the mathematical community through its meetings, publications, advocacy and other programs.

MATHEMATICAL ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA
The Mathematical Association of America is the largest professional society that focuses on mathematics accessible at the undergraduate level.

THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a public voice of mathematics education, providing vision, leadership and professional development to support teachers in ensuring equitable mathematics learning of the highest quality for all students.

SOCIETY FOR INDUSTRIAL AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS
Our mission is to build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology through our publications, research, and community.

AMERICAN STATISTICAL SOCIETY
The ASA’s mission is to promote excellence in the application of statistical science across the wealth of human endeavor.
