The Question of Ukraine

This event sponsored by Southwestern College's Deets Library and Winfield Public Library will offer community members an opportunity to view the Academy-Award-winning documentary 20 Days in Mariupol.

The film will be followed by a discussion with:

• Lev Mitin, a local high school senior who lived through the event
• Stephen Woodburn, a local historian who offers perspective on the Russian/Ukrainian conflict
• Joe Hedges, a local businessman who spent time on the ground in Ukraine and was involved in the project to monitor the contact line between Ukraine and Russia in the years leading up to the war

The screening will take place in Deets Library on the campus of Southwestern College from 6-7:30 p.m. with the discussion to follow. Attendees are welcome to just come for the discussion. 20 Days in Mariupol is available to screen anytime at pbs.org/frontline, on Frontline's YouTube channel, or the PBS Documentaries Prime Video Channel.
