Homecoming 2019 Events at Southwestern College
Southwestern College will celebrate 2019 Homecoming Friday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 27. Numerous activities have been announced.

Friday’s schedule includes:
• 2 to 5 p.m.— Registration for class reunions in the Christy Administration Building lobby.
• 2 p.m.—“Listening Chair” live podcast recording featuring David Dault, Deets Library.
• 4 p.m.—Annual Smith-Willson lecture with podcaster, speaker, and author, David Dault, Messenger Recital Hall.
• 5 p.m.—Ribbon cutting and open house for the Center for Career and Vocation, Deets Library.
• 5 p.m.— Cheer & Dance Alumni Event, White P.E. Building
• 6 to 7:30 p.m. — All Class Homecoming dinner, Roy L. Smith dining hall, RSVP required.
• 7 p.m.—Men’s basketball alumni game, Stewart Field House
• 7:45 p.m. — “Things Not Seen” live podcast recording hosted by David Dault. SC professors Jackson Lashier and Jacob Goodson will be interviewed at Wheat State Winery (23622 Springhill Farm Dr, Winfield) – Limited to the first 250 who register.
Saturday’s schedule includes:
• 8-5 p.m.—100 years of Campus Players display, President’s Art Gallery in the Darbeth Fine Arts Center.
• 9 a.m. — Homecoming parade, Main Street between 15th and 10th Street.
• 10 a.m.—Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Roy L. Smith student center dining hall.
• 10:30 a.m. — Alumni registration, Stewart Field House foyer.
• 10:30 a,m.—Communications, computer science, and English reception, Christy 13
• 10:30 a.m.—Performing arts reception, Darbeth lobby.
• 10:30 a.m.— Family Fun ’Round the Mound – Cole Mound Plaza. Concert by Worship Outreach, face painting, and rock painting for the Mound.
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Homecoming picnic, Stewart Field House, $9 per person, $4.50 for children.
• Noon – President’s Luncheon for 51+ years alumni, Winfield Country Club, RSVP required.
• 1:30 p.m. — Homecoming football game vs. Friends University, Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
• 5 p.m.—Class of 1969 photo, Winfield Country Club (2916 Country Club Rd. Winfield).
• 5 to 7:30 p.m. — Campus Players reunion dinner, Baden Square (700 Gary St. Winfield), RSVP required.

• 5:30 p.m.—Class of 1969, 50-year reunion dinner, Winfield Country Club, RSVP required.
• 6 p.m.—Women’s soccer alumni meet and greet and scrimmage, Jantz Stadium.
• 8 p.m. — Campus Players Centennial Showcase, Richardson Performing Arts Center. Open to the public, free-will donation to be taken.
Sunday’s schedule includes:
• 10:50 a.m. — Homecoming worship service, Grace UMC, Rev. Mike Marion ’77 guest speaker.
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.—Sunday brunch buffet, Roy L. Smith dining hall, $8 per person.
