As part of the Winfield Public Library’s commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing, Bob Gallup, professor of physics and mathematics at Southwestern College, will make a presentation on Saturday, July 20, at 3 p.m., in the library’s community room.  Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

The presentation is titled “The Moon – What’s Up With the Neighbor Next Door?” and according to Gallup, will address some common misconceptions about our nearest neighbor in space.
