New Faculty and Staff at Southwestern College

New Southwestern College faculty and staff were introduced at the annual Welcome Back Dinner held Monday, Aug. 13.
New faculty include:
• J.K. Campbell, associate professor of education and chair for the Division of Education. He earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Wichita State University; a master of education from Wichita State University; a master of environmental science from Friends University; and a doctor of education degree in educational leadership from Wichita State University.
• Susan Dutcher, visiting assistant professor of psychology. Dutcher is a licensed psychologist and a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist. She has a master’s degree from Friends University and a doctorate degree from George Fox University.
• David Youland, assistant professor of business. He earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master of business administration in marketing from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
• Jennifer Hemphill, associate professor of theatre. Hemphill earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and a master of fine arts degree in acting from Kent State University.
• Aaron Knodle, assistant professor of music. Knodle earned a bachelor of music in organ performance and a bachelor of arts in music education from Luther College, as well as a master’s degree in choral conducting from Boston University. He will complete his doctorate in choral conducting from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music in December.
• Nick Bartkoski, assistant professor of business. He earned his bachelor of science degree in journalism and bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Kansas, a master of business administration from the University of Kansas, and a doctor of philosophy in business administration with an emphasis on strategy from the University of Oklahoma.
• Micah Fry, instructor of communication. She received her associate of arts in mass communication from Cowley College, a bachelor of arts in communication and master of arts in communication from Wichita State University.

• Cedric Sunray, transfer admission representative
• Trevor Jossart, sports information director
• Mike McCoy, acting athletic director
• Terri Anderson, assistant track and field coach
• DeMarcus Spurlock, graduate assistant football coach.
• Brandon Steed, graduate assistant football coach
• LonDarius Thomas, graduate assistant football coach
• Jacob Gibbs, graduate assistant baseball coach
• Ezequiel Suarez, graduate assistant tennis coach
• Dylan Kester, graduate assistant baseball coach
• Landon Fox, graduate assistant golf coach
• Sashane Watson, graduate assistant volleyball coach
• Brandon Branch, graduate assistant men’s basketball coach
• Jacee Kramer, graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach
• Jose Chavarria, graduate assistant athletic trainer.
