An on-campus memorial service will be Friday, April 11, at 4 p.m. in Richardson Auditorium. Because of this special service, the annual employee recognition gathering will be postponed until a date to be announced later.

Memorial Gifts

Many have also asked about memorial gifts to Dr. Schmidt. The family has selected the First Baptist Church and Southwestern College as recipients of any memorials. At SC, these gifts will be used for a scholarship fund in Phil’s honor.

If anyone would like share a memory or note of condolence with the family, materials are available in Mossman 105 through Wednesday.  Campus minister Ashlee Alley also continues to be available for anyone who wants to talk.
