The show revolves around three middle-aged single siblings, two of whom live together, during a visit by the third who supports them.  The show depicts how their lives have eveloved and how they have come to be in their current state.  Some of the show's element's were derived from the works of Anton Chekhov, including several of the characters' names, the play's setting in a cherry orchard, and the theme of the possible loss of an ancestral home.
