The Southwestern College division of performing arts will present “A Night at the Red Carpet” Friday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m., in Richardson Auditorium of the Christy Administration Building. 
“The audience will get that ‘at the movie’ experience while the band provides the music,” says SC sophomore Nathan Haefele, Paola.
According to Haefele, there are 40-45 band members which include Southwestern College students and community members.  He says Richardson Auditorium and the Christy Lobby will have the look of a movie theatre.
The concert will feature music from “The Dark Knight,” “Shrek,” “Chicago,” “Twilight,” “The Legend of Zorro,” and others.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students with ID.  There is no admission charge for Southwestern College students with ID. They are available by calling Lou Tharp at (620) 229-6272.  Popcorn and other concessions will be available for purchase.
