The Southwestern Children's Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Nikki Kirk, will begin their season on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 5:15 to 6 p.m. in the Darbeth Rehearsal Hall on the campus of Southwestern College.  Registration is open to all students in third to eighth grade with no audition required. 

The Southwestern Children's Choir is a choral ensemble for students in Cowley County and the South Central Kansas region. According to Kirk, the goal of the Southwestern Children’s Choir is to provide a collaborative and welcoming environment for the development of lifelong music skills and appreciation. 

“There will be performance opportunities throughout the year including the Southwestern Elementary Honor Choir, Winterfest, and more,” Kirk says. “Register today to join the music-making fun.”
