Southwestern College will host its annual Honor Orchestra Festival on Monday, January 24.

High school string students from Winfield, Arkansas City, Derby, El Dorado, and Independence will rehearse with Southwestern College faculty and students throughout the day. The festival will conclude with a performance at 6 p.m., in Richardson Performing Arts Center. The El Dorado High School Orchestra, conducted by Kevin Monroe, will be the featured guest orchestra. Dr. Joshua Robinson, assistant conductor of music theatre at Southwestern College, will also be the featured soloist with the 2022 Honor Orchestra.

The concert is free and open to the public.
