SC Performing Arts Providing Transportation to Wichita Symphony on Sunday
The Southwestern College performing arts division will provide transportation to and from the Wichita Symphony Orchestra Classic Series concerts on Sundays during the 2018-19 season.
The Wichita Symphony Orchestra begins the 2018-2019 Masterworks Season on Sunday, Sept. 16, with Beethoven’s “Violin Concerto,” featuring violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins, Brahms’s “Symphony No. 3,” and Berlioz's “The Corsair Overture.”
“This Brahms work is absolutely one of the most impactful symphonic works to me,” says Tim Shook, chair of performing arts at Southwestern. “The program is inviting, beautiful and varied. Join us on Sunday, Sept. 16.”

“We meet at Darbeth Fine Arts Center on the Southwestern College campus around 1 p.m. on Sunday,” says Aidan Wells Filbert, president of ToneBuilders.
