Amanda Hash joined Southwestern College in 2023 as an Assistant Professor of English. Previously, she worked at Butler Community College for ten years, teaching composition, literature, creative writing, and developmental English. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Wichita State University and a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English from Missouri Western State University. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes, traveling, and trying to corral her two Australian shepherds.
