After School Tutoring for Middle and High School Students
QLC staff and student tutors are available to work with middle and high school students on their math or stats homework.
By individual arrangement 4:00pm - 5:00pm at the QLC (Beech Science Center #101)
Math Tutor Training
The QLC recruits, trains and supports math tutors. If you are interested in becoming a math tutor, contact the QLC for information.
Prep/Review Workshops
Are your algebra skills rusty? Need to refresh the Calc I you took earlier before going into Calc II? The QLC can provide workshops to help students review material from previous courses before they start an algebra or calculus course.
30-Minute Clinics
These are short practice sessions on specific topics, such as fractions, solving equations, factoring, exponents, graphing, or any topic requested by students. The 30-minute clinics can be offered at various times throughout the week. Check with the QLC to schedule your topic.
English 112 Beyond Google
The QLC has contributed 1 hour of instruction on understanding data and graphs to this information literacy course.
Facilitating and Debriefing GamePlay in the College Classroom
