Tips for Finding Scholarships:

  • Complete your FAFSA
  • Mark your calendar for yearly paperwork and deadlines
  • Talk to your financial aid counselor
  • Find any city/regional scholarships
  • Look at unique offers in your state
  • Look at any applicable federally sponsored scholarships
  • Exhaust all campus-specific offers (field of study, clubs, organizations, alumni, etc.)
  • Look for "fringe" scholarships: fun contests, unique offers
  • Use trusted scholarship search engines
