Faculty
Sarah Jane Naillon is a Winfield Kansas native who began her violin studies at age 3 and piano at age 7. In the Spring of 2010 she was selected as the Wichita Youth Symphony “Youth Talent” winner and performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto (Op. 64) with the Wichita Youth Symphony at Century II Concert Hall. She has played with Silver Sound String Quartet since 2004 and attended Wichita State University and the University of Oklahoma where she studied under Hal Grossman. She is currently Director of Orchestras for USD 465 in Winfield, KS. She also teaches from her private studios in Winfield and Wichita Kansas, at the Bethel College Academy of Performing Arts as well as the Tabor College Music Preparatory School. She plays with numerous symphony orchestras in Kansas and Oklahoma, sits Principal second violin for the Hutchinson Symphony Orchestra, and enjoys playing oboe and piano, volunteering with the Girl Scouts as a troop leader, painting, and spending time with her niece.
