"But You're Not a 'Real' Musician! (or Thinker)": Thought and Play between Philosophy and Music
Dr. Christopher Fox, Professor of Philosophy at Newman University, investigates issues in religion, political theory, metaphysics, and Judaism & Christianity in context of the History of Western Philosophy. At present he is completing a monograph that treats the influence of pagan anti-Judaism on modern and contemporary philosophy. This project traces the influence of Roman historian Tacitus' ideas about the Jews on the works of Spinoza, Hegel, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and others.
