Dr. Matthew Freedman to present at Southwestern

The H.L. Snyder Medical Foundation has arranged for Dr. Matthew Freedman to speak from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 10th in Mossman 101.   Freedman is one of the two top researchers from Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School.  Freedman's research focuses on prostate cancer and how our genome can guide clinical decision making. His objective is to find more effective ways to treat prostate cancer. The emphasis in the laboratory is to understand the clinical and functional consequences of DNA sequence variation.

This presentation is free and open to the public.  Southwestern College students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend this educational opportunity.
