This past summer Assistant Professor Daniel Stevens spent five weeks at the University of North Texas, completing all coursework for a Doctor of Musical Arts degree.

Although several steps need be accomplished before graduation, Daniel is officially ABD!  This Fall will constitute 11 years of collegiate study.

Also, Daniel came home just in time to welcome his new baby boy, Issac Nathan, on July 9th.  He weighed in at 7 lbs, was 19 in. long, and likes to sleep during the day.  Although mom and dad (and sister Hannah) get sleepless nights, they feel blessed to have this addition to the family.
