Community Music School Offering Second Masterclass

The Community Music School at Southwestern College will present a flute and piano masterclass on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m.—noon.  The masterclasses are offered to anyone who would like to attend.  There is no admission charge.

The featured guests at the masterclass are Conor Nelson, flute professor at Oklahoma State University, and Shinae Kim, freelance artist from New York City.    The flute masterclass will be held in Wroten Hall, while the pianists work in the rehearsal hall of the Darbeth Fine Arts building. 

There will also be a luncheon from noon—1 p.m. to visit with the artists in the rehearsal hall.  Lunch will cost $6 per person. 

At 1:30 p.m. Nelson and Kim will give a concert in Richardson Auditorium.
