Southwestern College senior Cheryl Davis will perform her senior vocal recital Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. in Messenger Auditorium in the Darbeth Fine Arts Center.  There is no admission charge to attend.

Davis will sing music from Mozart, Bellini, Faure, Schumann, Schubert, and Samuel Barber. 

“I am singing a song called ‘The Blessing’ which is very special to me because I sang it at my sister’s wedding,” Davis says.  “A few of the pieces I am singing are from operas and I thoroughly enjoy singing opera.”

A reception will be held immediately following the recital in the Messenger lobby.

Davis, a music major at SC, is the daughter of John and Karen Davis, Estes Park, Colo.
