A jazz combo, led by Christopher Schmitz, will perform a free concert Wednesday, June 3, at 8 p.m., in Messenger Recital Hall in Darbeth Fine Arts Center.  The public is invited to attend.

The jazz combo will perform many jazz standards.  Schmitz is assistant professor of music and director of bands at Southwestern College.  Joining Schmitz in the combo is Scott Williams, Tom Hoeffgen, Brad Turgeon, and Nick Hofmeister.

The performance will be presented for the community and for students attending the Southwestern Summer Music Festival, which lasts May 31- June 5 on the SC campus.
