Annual Candlelight Christmas Concert Dec. 7

The Southwestern College music department will present its annual Candlelight Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m., in Richardson Auditorium of the Christy Administration Building.  There is no admission charge.

“This is our gift to you,” says Tim Shook, chair for the performing arts division. “We hope the whole community will come and enjoy celebrating and kicking off the Christmas season.”  

Scheduled to perform is the South Kansas Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Daniel Stevens, as well as the A Cappella Choir and the Southwestern College Singers under the direction of David Gardner.  At the conclusion of the concert, as audience members exit Richardson Auditorium; they will be entertained by the faculty jazz quartet who will be playing in the lobby of Christy.  Refreshments will be served and everyone is invited to stay and visit.
