The Southwestern College music department will present the Fall Honors Recital on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m., in the Richardson Performing Arts Center on the main level of the Christy Administration Building. There is no admission charge and the public is encouraged to attend.

Select students have earned the honor to present solo performances based on the previous semester’s jury exam scores.  Students performing include Hannah Breshears, voice; Joefirkus Giat, piano; Scarlet Green, voice; Kaela Massey, voice; Ondreya Seahorn, voice; Jack Warring, voice; Aidan Wells Filbert, piano and marimba; and Leslie Wofford, flute.

“We are extremely proud of these students and their growth,” says Jeremy Kirk, chair of Southwestern’s music department.  “We hope the community will join us in celebrating their achievements.”
