Tori Fairbank, a senior at Southwestern College, will be presenting her senior recital in conclusion of her time at Southwestern College. “Love of Theater” is the theme for her program, and she will be performing a variety of musical selections, including musical theater songs, pop songs, scenes, and dancing. Miss Fairbank will have many guests performing with her, including Megan Morrow, Justin Godwin, Jacob Marney, Carlene Dick, Brandi Young, Juliann Smarsh, Michelle Pentz, Phoebe Muldrow, Anna Rosell, Allie Petrovich, John Rohr, Zoe Rea, and William. Some of the major areas of accomplishments for Tori since she has been at Southwestern include being an Irene Ryan Nominee 2015 & 2016, being accepted to the National Theater Institute, receiving two mainstage costume design credits, she was one of the playwrights for devised play The Kid Courage Project, and she directed two 10 minute scenes. She has also participated in Uncle Vanya (assistant stage manager and Marina), Spamalot (assistant stage manager), The Kid Courage Project (playwright and actor), High Jinx (Much Ado scene and MTEns number), Much Ado About Nothing (costume designer/costumer and Beatrice), The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds (costume designer/costumer), Legally Blonde (makeup crew), A Cappella Choir, Musical Theatre Ensemble, Fools on the Hill (actor and director), Small Packages (actor and director), 24 Hour Play Festival (assistant stage manager and actor), Eager Heart (house manager and Eager Sense), and Acts of Consequence (run crew for Shane Schrag’s senior recital).
