The SC Choral Department has a renewed focus on learning vocal technique for the 21st century associated with both the traditional Bel Canto style and Contemporary Commercial Music.  This fall the SC Choirs, featuring A Cappella Choir and SC Singers, will be presenting a concert entitledMuusika!. Muusika! celebrates music from around the world, showcasing pieces from seven different countries including Canada, Estonia, South Africa, and Latvia.  Students have been immersed this semester learning a variety of cultures, movements, languages, and various vocal techniques associated with these styles and countries.  Included in this concert is the historical tradition of performing Christiansen’s Beautiful Savior and the SC Alma Mater.
