My favorite professor:

I have loved every single one of my professors here at SC, but my favorite would be Bob Gallup.  I took his physics class last year and without a doubt, Bob put in so much extra time to make sure I understood the material.  I was in every single one of his office hours and I'm pretty sure he got annoyed of seeing me that much, but he most definitely helped me pass the class with a great grade.  He also is just an amazing guy to talk to about literally anything, especially cats.

I know I'm at SC when...

...I'm out of breath.  SC has so many stairs!  From the 77 to literally anywhere on campus, there are going to be stairs.

Jaci Bogner - Volleyball Team PhotoI chose to come to SC because of the...

...amazing science program and to play volleyball.  SC is one of the few undergraduate programs in the country that allows students to be able to cut on cadavers, and with me wanting to go to medical school, I figured SC would provide me great opportunities for that.  Volleyball has also been a lot of fun while I've been here too.

My high school friends would say that...

...I am a lot more active in SC activities than I was in high school.  I am involved in multiple clubs here at SC, including Pre-Health Professionals and Beta Beta Beta, I am an RA, Student Ambassador, a leader on the volleyball court, and a few other things!

Studying for Pat Ross' tests, working on cars, going on hikes, and cooking.

What surprised me about SC was...

...just how much the faculty truly cares about the students here.  I have never had a professor not help me when I've asked for it and pretty much all the staff working here at SC is so willing to talk with you about anything. SC is a school that truly wants to see you succeed in life.
